Summary

Aoi Nishimori is a high school girl who lives alone in her own apartment， but to her surprise， she discovers that the prince of her school， Shusei Kugayama， has moved in next door！ To add to this， a series of crazy happenings result in the two living together under a single roof！ Shusei is known to be a heartless guy and Aoi particularly hates him after he coldly rejected her best friend， so a life of cohabitation seems like a recipe for disaster。 And yet， Aoi somehow can’t stop her heart from pounding when she’s with Shusei。。。

I fiend for forced proximity stories。 That’s all there is too it。 As tired as I am of the asshole “prince” trope， I still ate this up and I want more。 Light and fun。

A fun shoujo about two classmates who end up having to live together。 The art is beautiful， and I loved the large drawings that needed little dialogue。 This was filled with lots of funny， cute scenarios the two ended up getting into， and their dynamic is great。 Unfortunately the romance seems to be progressing a little too quickly for my tastes， so not sure if I’ll continue with the series。~ I read this for the 1，000 doors readathon 2021 ~

Honestly idk how I feel about this。 Ldk has some of my fave tropes: forced proximity， sharing the apartment and it’s lowkey more adult than other shoujo mangas。 We are following Aoi and her best friend Moe， who just got her heart break by the bad boy of school and the prince。 Aoi confronts him and he is basically tired of girls throwing out at him without getting to know him first （must be a really tired thing） and he is not interested。 However soon they will realize they are neighbors and after Honestly idk how I feel about this。 Ldk has some of my fave tropes: forced proximity， sharing the apartment and it’s lowkey more adult than other shoujo mangas。 We are following Aoi and her best friend Moe， who just got her heart break by the bad boy of school and the prince。 Aoi confronts him and he is basically tired of girls throwing out at him without getting to know him first （must be a really tired thing） and he is not interested。 However soon they will realize they are neighbors and after an incident at the kitchen they are forced to share the apartment。 Suddenly Aoi is making box lunches for him and trying to avoid Moe finding out about this because she might have feelings for the guy still。 Every girl in Hs wants to get his attention and she doesn’t want to have a target for that reason， but she catches feelings and they have a lot of chemistry and tension。 However Aoi feels like sometimes he is playing or making fun of her and by the end of the book a mysterious girls appears。I honestly like a lot of scenes in this book and it was entertaining and a good start for a new defies。 。。。more

This was absolutely adorable！ It’s been awhile since I have read Shojo， thank god for Amazon kindle unlimited for having this！ I absolutely love Aoi but like most Shojo female characters she is very innocent and naive。 Although I also found Aoi to be strong in her own way。 She loves her friend Moe and would do anything for her， even ignore her possible growing feelings for high schools prince Shu。I liked Shu， however I struggled with his disregard of women but most importantly I got really angry This was absolutely adorable！ It’s been awhile since I have read Shojo， thank god for Amazon kindle unlimited for having this！ I absolutely love Aoi but like most Shojo female characters she is very innocent and naive。 Although I also found Aoi to be strong in her own way。 She loves her friend Moe and would do anything for her， even ignore her possible growing feelings for high schools prince Shu。I liked Shu， however I struggled with his disregard of women but most importantly I got really angry when he punched Aoi and made it seem as if she was fat。 Which puts people on my sh*t list fast。 As someone who struggled with ED and had someone pinch me once and say the same thing。。。it just really irked me in the wrong way。 Some might say I’m being all sensitive about this but it’s just not okay。 I understand he was trying to make “light” of a certain situation but still not okay。 So hopefully on the next volume he will redeem himself。As for the art style， I am not sure if I really like it。 I loved the cute chibi forms but I felt like Aoi’s eyes were drawn out of proportion to her body。 Haha that might be me seeing things。 I definitely felt like it got better through the first volume。As for the plot， I don’t have much to say about it since it’s still getting established。 I like this idea of enemies to lovers vibes that is going on。 I also love that Aoi is not just fawning over Shu and there is something to build between them。 。。。more
